Y series three-phase induction motors
Y series three-phase induction motors, with a squirrel-cage construction and a general application, are a basic series of induction motors designed according to national uniform standard. Its frame centre height, Power class and foot-mounting dimensions are all up to the standard of IEC (International Electro technical Committee). The product can be coordinated with all types of machinery at home and abroad.
Y series motors have a frame centre height ranging from 80mm to 355mm, F class insulation, IP44 class protection system and IC411 method of cooling. The fundamental mounting arrangements are IMB3 IMB35 IMB5 IMV1, etc. The operating conditions of this type of motors are as following: Continuous (S1) duty, ambient temperature between -15°C and 40°C, altitude lower than 1000 meters above sea level, three-phase AC power voltage 380v(50HZ), star-connection for 3kw or less whereas and delta-connection for 4kw or more.
