On the basis of learning from the design ideas and the successful experience of foreign similar products and extensive research, the polymeric metal oxide surge arresters including 35kV ~ 220kV power station, transmission, distribution, electrification railway and electrical motor protection type etc. have been developed and produced. The arresters designed by the company have some advantages such as simple structure, small volume, light weight, convenient transportation, sealing and explosion-proof performance, and also have excellent electrical corrosion-proof and anti-pollution characteristics. Besides, they have some characteristics as follows:
- Because silicone rubber material is filled between the side of resistance and insulation cylinder, it makes the sealing and explosion-proof improved, and finally ends the hidden danger of internal moisture and explosion.
- The aging coefficient of resistance chip is less than 1.05, which makes the product life span much longer.
- The internal design is reasonable, and the field distribution is uniform.
- The circulation current energy is large, and it has much more space to absorb energy.
- The mechanical strength of insulation cylinder is strong, and it has excellent anti-flexible behavior.
