With span of 176m+176m, clear span of 350.8m, depth of 110m and lower chord height of 30m, A380 hangar will be the biggest aircraft line maintenance hangar in Asia and one of the the largest hangars worldwide.
Ameco’s A380 hangar with total floor area of 70,437m2 locates at north of Beijing’s new terminal 3 and represents a vital segment of Beijing Capital International Airport’s expansion program. The hangar will simultaneously provide six wide-body and four narrow-body aircraft maintenance positions, and be able to accommodate all kinds of Boeing and Airbus up to size of A380.
