Butyl tapes are available as a solid butyl rubber pressure sensitive tape supplied in roll.

It is made with high quality PET & butyl rubber attached on aluminum sheet. This strong adhesion, high elastic single side butyl tape is highly use on seal or repair wide range of surfaces such as corrugated roofing, automobiles parts, leaks in caravans, down pipes, and other necessities. This product is applicable to:

Corrugated roofing seal, repair on leaks for Caravans, and siding joint for automobile, construction, or container frame.

Apply Direction:

1. Select appropriate butyl tape size based on your constructional need.

2. All surfaces to be attached must be free of dust, dirt, oil, and moisture. Apply organic solvent to clean surface if necessary.

3. Apply butyl tape to dry temperature condition between -40C~90C

4. Apply butyl tape to surface directly from roll by pressing through the release paper with a smooth, firm, and even motion.

5. Allow butyl tape to adhere on surface for at least 12 hours. Away from tearing, peeling, and water.

*Apply during dry condition above 40F to avoid weak adhesion due to surface humidity condensation

** This tape designed for airtight waterproofing purpose rather than holding or fixing items. Be sure to use nails, screws, etc., after applying the tape, for permanent fixing.

For Corrugated Roofing Seal:

Apply screw to segment points of single sided butyl tape with aluminum backing sheet to ensure adhesion of sealant.
