U45 uses Lexan material from GE produced in the USA, with the protection of the silica gel ring, it can be waterproof even 100metres in the water. The lamp can be turn on/off by revolving the lamp chimney. N45 can be hanging on the belt, bag or some where else with the rope on it. The body of U45 is covered with TPE material which feels comfortable.
