A. Detailed description of Horizontal Spiral Accumulator Series

Series spiral accumulator is the latest metallurgical equipment that can’t be eliminated to keep continuously and automatically production in welding pipe line .It stores and supplies successive strip material for forming machine. When change steel coil, uncoil, shear, butt strip and stop feeding to the accumulator, the strip in the outer side of accumulator generally tighten to the inner cage, in order to discharge continuously. After shearing and butt welding, feed material to accumulator at the two or three times speed as the welded tube speed and make the strip in inner cage, under the power of runoff, as the expanded trend generally tighten to the outside cage till totally to the outer cage with full material. At this time, make the feeding speed the same to the welded tube speed and that is the synchronous stage which keeps the accumulator feeding material continuously to forming machine according to this cycle. The main characteristic of the accumulator is the masterly work principle, new and unique structure design, vanguard technology to improve welded pipe quality, forming machine and rollers’ life. It is safe, reliable, and easy to control.
