Principles:

The preparation tank is divided into three sectors: dissolving V1, maturing V2 and storage V3, interconnected by siphons that form a preferential path necessary for the formation of a top quality solution.

Transteed PY3 continuous flow systems permit the batching of flocculation aids for the preparation of ready to use polymer solutions and both liquid and powdered polymers can be processed in this way. The storage tank is subdivided into three chambers, largely preventing carry-over of the freshly prepared polymer.

The worldwide use of polymers is essential for solid / liquid separation processes in many areas of waste water purification and precipitation or dehydration of sludge. Applications can be found internationally in the mining, ore processing, chemicals, paper and sugar industries.
