How to make the Exothermic welding connection

 1.Place the clean conductors in the mold after ensuring the mold is dry. Preheating or making a test joint when the mold was first used.

2.Place the disc into the right place of crucible, and make sure it’s correctly seated middle and covered the tap hole.

3.Pour our welding flux into the crucible, then spread some starting powder on our flux surface, also pour little on the lip of   the mold.

4.Close the lid, and use the flint gun on the lip of the mold.

5.The reaction takes place safely inside the mold.

6.Open the mold and take out the joint, clean the mold by a mold scraper and brush for next using.

Notice:

Do not stay anyone in front of the fire in two meters.

Wear the heat insulation gloves when working.
