Cementing head is a special tool for pumping slurry and releasing plug, and cementing head is used as wellhead unit in all kinds of cementing operation. In most operations, a bottom plug is launched before the spacer of cement slurry. The top plug is released form the cement head agter the spacer fluid. Most cement heads can hold both the top and bottom plugs. The types of cementing head are various as single-plugs, double-plugs, drill pipe cementing head.
