Application
The KFI series fault indicators are mounted on overhead line toindicate single phase earthing fault or short-circuit fault. Incase of the single phase earthing fault or short-circuit faultoccur, the indicator near the fault will show red and the light ofit will flick to give the alarm.
With the help of on line monitor system, the fault signal willbe transmitted to the control center. The software in the centerwill analyse the fault and then indicate the position and time ofit.
In case of instant fault, the indicator will reset in 8 or12hours (can be set according to customer’s requirements) and redalarm will disappear automatically. If it is a permanent fault, thealarm will
not disappear until the fault to be cleared
