ToxicApis for Injection 0.5mg Composition:
ToxicApis is a yellowwish clear liquid secreted by bees venomous andaccessorius,comprised of polypeptides,enzymes and biogenicamine,excipients are mannitol and phosphatebuffer.
Characteristics:
Awhite or almost white lyophilized mass or power.
Indications:
It isindicated in the treatment of rheumatic arthritis,RheumatoidArthritis,Ankylosing Spondylitis and other rheumatic disease,italso can be used for the adjuvant therapy of peripheralneuralgia.
Dosageand directions for use:
Forsubcutaneous injection,or intramuscular injection.
Adult:Initialdosage of 0.05mg,increase progressively by 0.1-0.2mg every otherday if there is not adverse reaction until to 0.25-0.5mg,once a dayor once every two days,total dosage of 10mg as a course oftreatment.
Children:halfdosage of the adult.
Injectionsite:
1.Limbs alternatesubcutaneous injection.
2.Trigger pointinjection,based on the lesions position,inject around the triggerpoint.
3.Pointinjection,refer to location of point of Traditional ChineseMedicine,inject at some points.
Side-Effects:
Thecommon side effect is local inflamed,fever,itch,not need fortreatment,avoid of scratching,
A fewpatients may suffer from urticaria,discontinue drug or takeChlorphenamine Maleate.
Rarelypalpebral edema may occur,discontinue drug and take ChlorphenamineMaleate.
4.Thewhole body childness and fever are easy to occur when the dosageexceeds 1.5mg,continue administration may relieve the symptoms,whennecessary,antipyretic and analgesic medicine may be administratedappropriately.
5..Rarelyhemoglobinuria, stomachache,diarrhea,nausea andvomiting,shock,tinnitus,headache,dizzy may occur,when thosesymptoms appear,discontinue the drug and take necessary symptomatictreatment. For shock patients,following treatments should betaken:lie on the back,oxygen uptake,subcutaneous injection of0.3-0.5 ml of adrenaline(1:100),or intramuscular injection of 1 mlof of adrenaline,or intravenous injection of 500 ml ofhydrocortisone glucose injection(dissolve 200mg of hydrocortisonewith 500ml of 10%of glucose injection).
Contraindications:
It iscontraindications in patients who have shown hypersensitivity tothis medicine.
Thepatients of renal failure or with the diseases of hemopoieticsystem.
Pregnantwomen.
Warnings andPrecautions:
Keepaway from blood vessel and nerve trunk when injection isperformed.
Thepoints of face,hands and feet should be avoided when the pointinjection is adopted.
Adiameter of 1-10cm of Red and swollen may occur at the injectionlocation,which will continue for 1-3 days,when the diameter ofinflamed part is more than 10 cm,the medicine should bediscontinued.
OtherPhysiotherapy may be combined used when treatment with thismedicine.
Thetreatment may be continued for 1-2 courses,other therapy may beadopted if there is not significant effect after treatment of 2courses.
Caution should betaken for the patients with allergic constitution.
