ual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) are the two relatively newreference methods. The use of these methods is limited due to theinaccessibility and the high cost of equipment. Therefore, simplemethods such as bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) andskinfold-thickness measurements are still the norm in field studiesand for public use. The BIA method has been extensively used inclinics, in sports medicine, and in weight reduction programs.Multiple studies have compared predictions of PBF by BIA withmeasurements made by reference methods, but the results arecontradictory. The key point of the accuracy of the BIA model isits correlation with its gold standard.

 

We use whole-body MRI scan to get continuous images of everycross section (interval 1 cm) of human body. Our research teamscanned more than 100 persons. By using specific software, weidentify each composition and calculate its area. Then we calculatethe volume of each composition and transformed to amount with ourspecial formula.

With more than 30,000 MRI images, we set up the regressiveformula of body composition in BIA mode. The accuracy is highlypractical.

 

DDS----real multi-frequency

Different frequency has different effects on different bodycomposition. Frequency lower than 50KHz cannot tell theextracelluar fluid (and other composition based on that), The morefrequency you use, the more accurate results you get.

Our unique DDS technology supplies the most accurate frequencyfor testing. DDS (Direct Digital Synthesizer) is the most advancedsystem to output high definition sine wave frequency. Contrast toother methods, DDS is more accurate and easy to adjust thefrequency. You can change the output frequency even withoutadjustment of your hardware circuit.

 

Windows CE inside

We use embedded Microsoft Windows CE® as the operating system(OS) of our machine. Microsoft Windows is the most common OS incomputer world, many applications can run on it. So our analyzer isuser-friendly and can be featured with new functions easily.

 

CF card storage

The memory part of the machine is a CF card, like what you findin a digital camera! The machine can store 10,000 records in thecard, or if you like, store 100,000 records in it with a biggercard. And it’s very easy to transmit the data to your computer byusing a USB line and Microsoft ActiveSync software. It’s an EXCELfile. Copy it like you copy a file in your PC.
