One-step Fecal OccultBlood FOB Test (strip)

INTENDED USE

One-step Fecal Occult Blood Test is a rapid, convenient andodorless qualitative, sandwich dye conjugate immunoassy fordetecting hemoglobin in human feces and is a useful aid in thediagnosis and therapy of gastrointestinal disorders. The testdevice is intended for self-testing.

HOW TO USE

1.Sample Collection and Preparation

Poke the stick into the fecal sample and make it into the smalltube six times at different sites.

Sample collection tube after collecting sample should be storedrefrigerated (2-8 °C ) if not used immediately.Store test device at4-30 °C  (room temprature).

2.Test Procedure

i.  Put the sample into a small tube with 1ml purwater and Shake well the sample collection tube. Freeze-storedsample should be well balanced at room temprature.

ii.  Remove the strip from th foil wrapper.

iii.Immerse the strip into the sample with the arrow endpointing toward the sample. Do not cover the sample overthe Max (maximum)  line. You may take the stripout between 10 and 20 seconds in the sample and laythe strip flatly on a non-absorptive clean surface. (See thepicture below.)

iiii.Read the result within 5 minutes. DO NOT INTERPRET RESULT10 MINUTTES.

3.Result Reading 

i. Positive: One hand appearing in the "C" region, the other inthe "T" region.

ii. Negative: only one color band appearing in the "C"region.

iii. Invalid: No color bands appear in the window at all, thetest result is invalid.
