The 18ton battery powered electric locomotive explored by our works is a kind of engineering battery type electric locomotive especially for large sized channel, subway and water irrigaton enginerring construction.

On the locomotive it is adopted IGBT chopping stepless speed regulation control, with the feature of quick starting, smoothness, little impact, little energy consumption and good adhesive availability, due to the adoption of the v-shaped rubber spring for reducing vibration, which can bear the bumping and impact from three directions such as longitudinal, vertical and lateral direction and play a good protective role in drive's cab and electric appliances, with three kind of brake styples such as hand wheel, resistor brake and air brake, through the adoption of integrated control console, it looks elegant and convenient.

For its powerful tractive effort and strong carrying capability, it is an ideal tractive equipment for channel construction.
