PM series desk-top optical power meter is a kind of intelligent optical power meter controlled by micro processor unit (MPU) with wide testing scope, high resolution, quick and accurate measurement of optical power for waves 1310nm and 1550nm, mainly applied to test the optical loss for sequent optical signal power, fiber optic, and optical instruments. With Si detector, PM2 has a testing wavelength range of 400~1050nm and optical power range of -60~+25dBm.
With InGaAs detector, PM31B has a testing wavelength range of 600~1700nm and optical power range of-80~+10dBm with high resolution to 0.001dB. It has seven calibration points: 650nm, 850nm, 980nm, 1310nm, 1480nm, 1550nm and 1625nm. It can display the optical power both linearly and nonlinearly, can also be applied to the absolute measurement on optical power and relative measurement on optical loss. The units for optical power display linearly are nW, ??W and mW, for optical power display nonlinearly is dBm, for relative measurement is dB.
