This tri-screw extruder has its three screws arranged in an inversetriangle form, with the diameter of the screw shaft: 120mm;

The quantity of the barrel: 8, and enjoys the followingfeatures:
1. High shearing efficiency and plasticization. Three screws withthree contact points are equivalent to three pairs of twin-screw,assure a high shearing efficiency, an easier plasticization ofplastic material.
2. Strong internal mixing and good dispersion compounding. Thethree screws form an inverse triangle arrangement, creating aclosed space at the center of the inverse triangle, at eachrotation cycle of the screw, the center area of the same sectiongrows from 2 mm To 15.3mm, this area change repeats three times,the compression ratio at each time is 58.5 fold, that is why a soperfect compounding and good plasticization are achieved.
3. Great output and low energy consumption. The production outputof banbury tri-screw extruder is 1.5 times higher than the twinscrew extruder of the same specification and the same power, thusit brings out a dramatic cost drop in terms of the general expenseslike manpower, floorage occupied by the machine, the electricityand so on for the production of the same quantity of plasticproducts.

Good ventthe vent of the machine is free from any glitch such asmaterial accumulation, nor material clogging or surging up, becausenearly all the material is sucked into the internal mixer area atthe center of the screw, the internal mixer area does the same roleas a melting pump, to reach quite high degree of vacuum, andincreases the products quality.
5. The duration time of the material inside the barrel is short andthe degradation of the material is not probably. The screwlength/screw diameter ratio of the machine is quite small, howeverthe stay duration of the material inside the barrel can be reduced,so this tri-screw extruder is suitable for the production ofmaterial sensitive to heat and degradation.
6. High torque design, high precision gear, imported bears, goodlubrication system and interlock protection device assure a smoothrunning.
7. The core of the screw adopted the the newest involute splinedesign, assure the maximum load capacity of feeding material, toachieve high torque transportation.
8. Unique vertical or horizontal water ring should be selectablefor heat-cutting pelletization of various kinds of plastics. Thevertical water ring is especially for heat-cutting polypropylene ofdifferent melting indexes, which the melting index can reach 1200and above.

11. The machine equipped with variable frequency control or DCspeed governor, can be controlled in discrete unit with interlockprotection system. The main components of electrical controllingsystem of the extrusion unit are imported.
