Morpholine is a colorless to yellow liquid with a perceptibleamine-like odor.  It is miscible with water.

Morpholine derivatives are particularly useful inthetextile industry, where they are employed as textilelubricantsand sizing emulsifiers.Chemically, morpholine is an amino ether.The etherfunction of the molecule is typically inert and most ofthereactions of morpholine involve the secondary aminegroup.
