Advantages of FeCrAl compared with NiCr:
• A higher resistivity (until 1.44 ohm mm²/m)
• A temperature of use higher in the air (1300°Cagainst 1200 °C for Resistohm 80)
• A higher charge rate
• A good resistance to sulphurous andcarbonaceous atmospheres
• A lower density which means: with an equalweight of material a more important number of elements (a cheaperunit price)
Condition of Supply
NiCr alloys are available in following conditions:
- Bright Annealed
- Oxidised (Blue and Golden)
- As Drawn

Long Life and Design Help
All our alloys have gone through extensive life tests and areproved to last longer than other equivalent alloy grades availablein the market. These wires are made with high quality raw materialsfrom the melting/alloying stage. Our team of engineers can help youto select the appropriate grade/size and design coiled-wire heatingelements for your specific applications.
