It's a bridge saw, completely constructed in cast iron, the axis move on linear guideways, by high precision racks.
The machine have 3 interpolated axis (X, Y, Z), controlled by a numeric control with 4 interpolated axis, the fourth axis is used only for show the position of the table, but his rotation remain manual. The head round by manual reducer, but the tilted cuts are anyhow controlled by the CNC whom interpolate the Z and Y axis, this way the machine is able to do step by step tilted cuts from 0 to 90 degree inside the slab. On the machine there are two lasers, one on the bridge for the normal alignment, and one on the head that follow the tilting of the blade, this way you can always know where the blade is going to cut even when the head is tilted. The table have two pistons that open it up to 85 degree, one precise hydraulic index stop the rotation every 45 degree, and an hydraulic brake assure the perfect rigidity in every position, the rotation angle is displayed on the control panel. The machine mount a touch screen for the control of every movement, the programming of the working processes, this touch screen is connected to a normal computer, which is connected via USB to the CNC.
The machine is included a small removable head for finger bits to be mounted under the main motor of 18KW. The small head allow the machine to perform holes and nonlinear cuts.
The machine can perform different type of jobs other than the normal bridge saw jobs, with the blade it's possible to do shaped profiles both on the surface and on the edge of the slab, the shaped profiles are made from DXF files.
It's possible to do cuts imported from DXF files with the slab leaned on the table, the finger bit can do all the cuts otherwise impossible for the bridge saw.
