Coating A choice of blackor clear varnish exists for coating of the OCTG material. Thiscoating is a solvent deposited non toxic phenolic PVB that providesatmospheric resistance to oxidation for a period of 6 to 12months.

Marking Identificationmarking is applied to every pipe by means of paint stencillingalong the length of the pipe and is in full accordance withAppendix D of API 5CT. Colour band marking is applied in accordancewith said specification. Additional information pertaining to thebundle is printed on a weatherproof plastic label that is attachedto the bundle.
