Mainly through its affiliates, China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) provides mechanical products as follows:
(1) exploration equipment
(2) drilling equipment
(3) Oil Production equipment
(4) workover and donwhole operation equipment
(5) construction equipment for oilfields

Some of the new developed drilling and logging equipment have reached or closed to the world level of the same kind products.

In 1982, Baoji Petroleum Machinery Plant, an affiliate of China National Petroleum Corporation was authorized for use of API monogram for the first time. Today, 13 kinds of products manufactured by CNPC have been licensed for use of the API monogram.

In recent years, CNPC carries out the certification work for ISO9000 Quality Management System. More than 50 petroleum machinery manufacturers refinery and petrochemical enterprises have been granted the ISO 9000 certificates.
