The planetarium is a popular science instrument for representation of manmade starry sky. It can project multiple astronomical phenomena such as the rising in the east and setting in the West of the Sun, the Moon and the stars, the running of plants in the starry sky and the processional movement of the rotating axis of the earth etc, seen by people at different longitudes and latitudes of the earth of a semiserical dome. It can make people be able to observe in a few minutes the multiple astronomical phenomena having taken place in hundreds even thousands of years. Therefore It is a basic equipment for astronomical lessons in the departments of astronomy, astronautics, navigation geodetic surveying and geologic prospecting, and it is also an effective tool for popular science education for people especially for the mass of teenagers.

- Running of the Sun, the Moon and five large stars, having a conjunct movement from diurnal movemnet to annual movement

- Gravitational shades being able to darken gradually are added to all projectors. The variation in brightness approaches natural.
