1. Mechanical Principle:

When the machine starts running, the sludge will be pushed into the filter cartridge from the feed inlet and then moves to the sludge cake outlet. The pitch of the screw narrows and the gaps between the rings decrease towards the end-plate where sludge cakes are discharged. The pressure in the dewatering drum increases as rage pitch of the screw narrows. The end plate further increases the pressure, and dewaters sludge.
