FSS-3M short period seismometer is a 3-component integrated, electro-magnetic transduction and force balanced electronic feedback seismometer with high sensitivity and wide dynamic range.

FSS-3M seismometer uses a mechanism which has stable natural frequency 0.3Hz and a high sensitivity electro-magnetic transducer and feedback system. It's frequency equivalent closeds 1 Hz and its observation frequency range from 2s to 50Hz after using the electronic feedback technology. As a result, the dynamic range of the seismometer is heightened and the nonlinear distortion is reduced.
