QCR is constantly working to improve and enhance their products line. The combined Planer & Thicknesser PT260 was designed in 1999. Now it has reached perfect quality.

The body and table are constructed from rigid aluminum casting and the stand from heavy duty steel sheet, all of which gives a very solid feel to the machine. The 260 mm wide two blade planer block is driven by a 2.2 kW motor and should prove adequate for the majority of small workshop application. The table height can be adjusted to give a generous 3 mm maximum cutting depth, useful when cleaning up through sawed or twisted timber, or right down to almost nothing for taking the final finishing cuts.

3) Thicknesser table is supported and the height is controlled by four threaded steel rods, which are positioned at each corner of the table and are driven by a hardened steel linked chain, which eliminates dipping when working on solid, heavy wood.
4) Infeed and outfeed rollers with anti-kickback device that pull the timber through thicknesser are loaded to ensure no marking are made to the finish of the timber.
5) 4" diameter dust extraction facility for both planer and thicknesser.
6) The industrial solution to motor braking, providing reliable performance with a mechanically braked motor.
