Crossover Subs are used for crossing over fromthe size of a single connection to the other in the drill string. They are alsoused for prolonging the life of the more expensive components of the drillstring.

The connections of the Subsare available in the following types of configurations:

2.   Box-Box.

3.   Box-Pin.
