The magnetic separator is suitable for applications that requirethe separation of raw materials with different magnetic rigidities.It is effective in the processing of fine, magnetic materials thathave a granularity value that falls below 3mm such as hematite,limonite, wolfram, limonite, and tantalum-niobium, etc.
The machine has also expanded in its application to include thepurification of quartz, feldspar and nepheline. A magnetic force iscombined with machine force during the separation process. Themachine is fitted with magnetic separators that attractferromagnetic materials in order to separate them from the othermaterials. The magnetic separator can be effectively applied for wet mineralseparation tasks involving magnetite, pyrrhotine, roasted ore,limonite, etc. It is also effectively used for the removal of othertypes of material such as coal, non-metal items, buildingmaterials, etc.
Detailed Description:
The magnetic separator is magnetic system made up of a closedmagnetic circuit that is ring shaped and energizing coils that aremade up of copper tubing cooled internally by water. There is amagnetic matrix in the form of grooved plates made of magneticconductive stainless steel.
The features of the separator include a short magnetic circuit, lowmagnetic flux leakage, high magnetic intensity, high beneficiatingresults, and low energy consumption. Their simple structure makesthem easy to use and maintain. The wet-type permanent magneticseparator consists of four main parts namely the cylinder, magneticsystem, cell, and the transmission mechanism.
Engineer Magnetic Separators are designed to extract ferromagneticmaterials from a mixture that has other non-magnetic particles. Rawmaterial with different magnetic rigidities can effectively beseparated by the machine which utilizes both the machine force andmagnetic force. The separators adopt a cyclic design and the diameter of theprocess vessel ranges from 220mm to 3, 050mm according tosuitability. Bent and welded stainless steel of 2-3mm is used inthe manufacture of the cylinder, which accommodates the magneticsystem. The cylinder is covered using a forged aluminum plate whichis connected using stainless bolts.
A decelerated machine is used to facilitate the rotation of thecylinder around the magnetic assembly using a motor. Stainlessbolts are used to install the magnetic element at the bottom platewith the axis of the magnetic yoke extending out of the cylinder.The axis of the magnetic yoke is fitted with cranks used foradjusting the angle of the magnetic assembly when necessary. Theworking area of the cell is made of a stainless steel plate whilethe other parts of the frame and cell are made of common weldedsteel.
