ZincBorate is one environmental-friendly halogen-free flame retardant.There are some formulations of XZnO.YB2O3.ZH2O, in which ZincBorate with 3.5 hydrate is calledZB???2335(2ZnO.3B2O33.5H2O)is the most common used grade. It has owned someexcellent properties on non-toxicity, slight solubility in water,good thermal stability, fine particle size, low specific gravity,great free-flowing etc. As one high efficient flame retardant, itis widely used in plastic, rubber, coating etcfields.
Applications:1. Zinc borate canbe used as multi-functional synergistic additives with antimonyoxide or other halogenated flame retardants to significantlyimprove the flame retardant performance, remove smoke emission andadjust the balance on chemical, mechanical, electrical etcproperties.2. As environmentalprotection substitute to replace current Antimony Oxide or halogenflame retardants, Zinc borate is directly used in PVC, PE,Polyolefin, Epoxy Polyamide etc resins and rubber process.Moreover, it is widely used in textile, fiber, floor, leather, wallpaper, carpet, paint etc decorative materials to improve flameretardant performance.3. base on itschemical properties, Zinc borate is also used on anti-corrosion,infra red absorption, fungicide for wood preservation etcfields.??Package:Zinc borate shouldbe pack, transported, stored as normal chemicalgoods.Standard package is25kg/bag, 500kg/bag, and can design package according to order.
