TonGFA angular contact ball bearings are designed forcombination radial and axial loading. Single-row bearings have highthrust capacity in one direction. Some single-row bearings arespecifically designed for duplex mounting in sets for maximumperformance. Double-row Conrad bearings can accommodate thrust inboth directions.
Size Range:Single-row: 10 mm - 150 mm (0.3937 in. - 5.9055 in.) bore
Double-row: 12 mm - 150 mm (0.4724 in. - 5.9055 in.) bore
Angular contact ball bearings have raceways in the inner and outerrings that are displaced with respect to each other in thedirection of the bearing axis. This means that they are designed toaccommodate combined loads, i.e. simultaneously acting radial andaxial loads.The axial load carrying capacity of angular contact ballbearings increases with increasing contact angle. The contact angleα is defined as the angle between the line joining the points ofcontact of the ball and the raceways in the radial plane, alongwhich the load is transmitted from one raceway to another, and aline perpendicular to the bearing axisDesign AttributesSpecific geometry of angular contact bearing raceways andshoulders creates ball contact angles that support higher axialloads.
