This block magnet is custom made for one of our customers foruse on security products. As you noticed, they areof N52 grade, which means they are very powerful in pull force.
They can also be made as magnetic hanging systemand some are mounted on special equipments anddevices. Two magnets at such dimension can snapeach other tightly through a 15mm thick glass or plate.
Beside the above applications, this magnetic block can also beapplied for magnetic gear, which usespermanent magnets to transmit torque between aninput and output shaft without mechanical contact. Magnetic gearshave a lot advantages over mechanical gears, like higherefficiency, lubrication free, physical isolation between input andoutput shafts, precise peak torque transmission and inherentoverload protection as well as very low acoustic noise andvibration and so on.
