Steel Bar for Pre-stressed Concrete, short for PCBar is invited by High-frequency Cooking of Japan Co., Ltd in endof 1906s. It was developed as high-tech pre-stressed steel materialand granted Japan national patent in year 1946. It belongs toaverage strength level pre-stressed products with a lot ofadvantages such as high strength and toughness, low relaxation,high gripping force combined with concrete, highweld-ability, high forge-ability, saving inmaterial(Φ20mm hot-rolled steel bar can be taken placeby Φ10.7mm PC bar). It was used widely inhigh-strength post-tension and concrete centrifugal tubular pipe,electrical pole, elevated bridge pier, railroad tie etc all overthe world, and has a very broad market prospect especially in Asiaarea.

QR-PC Bar system was developed as anchor head andwedge, and it can be applied to Φ6mm~Φ16mm PC bar or wire stressingand anchoring. The wedge adopted low-carbon constructional alloysteels, and the surface hardness can reach HV800±100 after heattreatment. The anchor head adopted high-quality constructionalalloy steels, and tempered the material to improve the mechanicalproperty. QR-PC Bar system had finished more than 1000 groups totest it’s anchoring safety efficiency and final appearance. Theaverage anchoring efficiency reached 98.8%, which meets therequirement remarked in GB/T5223.3-2005, GB/T228 andcorrespondingly technical specification referred inFIP.
