Dissolution testing is one of the most important tests ontablets, capsules, pellets and other solid dosage forms, and hasbeen widely carried out by the pharmaceutical industries for thequality control and R&D of pharmaceuticals. ZRS-8G DissolutionTester offers six shaft-positions and twelve vessel-positions. Sixof the twelve vessels correspond to the six shafts in one linedirectly in front of the user. This means easy access and accuratesample probe positioning for the user. Six additional vessels notonly may be used for holding the reference standard and/or blankmedia during a test run, but also may be used for the close nexttest-run with time-saving. The tester head at the top can bemanually lifted up for easily changing the paddles and vessels. Themicroprocessor-based tester allows the temperature, rotation speed,and sampling intervals etc. to be predetermined and stored. Testingwill automatically proceed based on the predetermined testparameters. However, during testing process, test parameters inputis allowed without any interruptions to the proceeding testing.Temperature and the rotation speed are displayed on the LEDdisplays in real time. The flow-through heating-circulator systemnot only has the water bath warmed up rapidly and evenly, but alsoprovides precise temperature control.
