Soluble in water, slightly soluted in alcohol, dissolvablein benzene, ether and petroleum ether etc., Esters will be formedby reaction with common organic acid; No reaction take place whenit is heated with dilute cuastic solution.

Usage: Pentaerythritol is used in the manufacture of Alkyd resins,fatty acid rosin and tall oil esters and to make paint andcoatings, printing ink, coating adhesives, explosives, sealants,varnish, lacquer, vinyl chloride, synthetic rubber andmiscellaneous including pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN),urethane coatings, flame retardant paints, polyvinyl chloridestabilizers, olefins antioxidant and pentaerythritoltriacrylate.

Storageand Handing: Stored in good ventilation, clean & dryplace; Protected from exposing in air. Transportation should be inclean cartage or in ship keeping dry and no shinning.
