MeTL procures a wide range of agricultural commodities at the farmgate from all corners of Tanzania. We have an extensiveinfrastructure of more than 100 regional offices all of which areequipped with warehouses, vehicles and personnel that purchasecommodities at the farm gate, clean, process, sort and grade thegoods, ready to meet the needs of the international market.

Our product range includes cocoa, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds,pigeon peas, yellow gram, cardamoms, castor seeds, coriander seeds,green moong, groundnuts, honey, soya beans, tea, red beans andmaize for supply to the World Food Program (WFP). We also exportwheat bran to the Middle East. Our forestry product portfolioincludes gum arabic and beeswax which is exported mainly to Europe.A recent addition to this portfolio is the export of sawn timberfrom our own sawmill in Tanga, Tanzania.
