PRODUCTIonPROCESSES AT OUR UNIT.
RECEIVING OFLEATHERS/ACCESSORIES our production process startswith the receiving of leather from Beauty & Beauty Worldwideown tannery & others. In order to ensure quality in each aspectBeauty & Beauty Worldwide imports almost 90% of the accessoriesused in our leather apparel production.
Quality Inspection: Quality is assured at the onsetof our production process through:
Strictmeasures taken for the grading of the received leathers.
Comprehensivequality inspection of all accessories.
Rejectingall defective leathers & accessories.
CUTTING: The gradedleathers are then sent to the Cutting Department where cutting iscarried out with the help of Card Board Patterns.
Thepanels of each garment are then numbered in order to ensure quality& eradicate mixing of different panels.
QualityInspection Quality Inspectors check these numberedpanels to validate the cutting quality of garments. The numberinginspection is carried out by:
Layout all the cut panels of natural leather hides for garments ontable.
Makethe matching, shading, size, & quality of all Natural leatherpanels.
Check the marking on allpanels.
STITCHING: TheStitching Department receives the numbered panels, which are thenstitched through a highly efficient & specialized Chain-system.Optimum utilization of work specialization is achieved by assigningthe stitching of different parts to each link in thechain. On-line QualityInspection. Strict measures are taken for assuringquality at each step of the stitching process. These measuresare:
Regularproduction of garments only begins once the first piece made hasbeen checked and approved.
Eachrelevant line-checker ensures 100% inspection of allgarments.
FINISHING: Stitchedgarments are received at the Finishing Department forwhich Beauty & BeautyWorldwide has assigned 1 floors ofits factory.
Finishing of garments iscarried out through various operations like buttoning, sewing,riveting, lining, ironing, trimming, polishing, &touching.
QualityInspection: The Finishing Department is one of themost crucial stages for ensuring production quality. Qualityinspectors ensure that:
Allgarments are thoroughly checked from all aspects inclusive ofleather, stitching, styling, accessories, & finish.
Anygarment found non-conforming to the set quality standards are sentback for rework.
PACKING &SHIPPING: BEAUTY & BEAUTYWORLDWIDE has a highly modern packing facilityin which garments can be shipped either ways i.e. flat pack incartons or hanging by sea and even hanging by air.
Oursystematic shipping procedures ensure that we have the capabilityto send shipments to any market in the world by taking the shortestpossible time.
Final QualityInspection:
Beforepacking, our in-house Quality Inspectors again re-check eachgarment for its leather quality, stitching, finishing, tagging,marking, etc.
Random QualityInspection: In addition to quality inspection,concerning the minutest details, Quality Inspectors have beenappointed who randomly check a garment at any stage of production,even when garments are packed and ready for shipping. The qualityattributes that are checked depend upon the stage of garmentproduction.

TANNINGPROCESS
Wet BlueTanning: Tanning Department receives the raw skin andhides from raw stores.
Tanning involves severalprocesses such as Soaking, Fleshing, De-liming, Bating, Picklingand Chrome Tanning and Piling.
Thetanning process for skins is completed in 5 days and 7 days forhides.
QualityInspection: Qualified tanners supervise the processfor standardized processing and quality control tillpiling.
A separate department ofWet Blue Stores is responsible for visual quality inspection andgrading of each and every piece according to the prescribedselection criteria.
Theskins and hides are stored and issued for production according todifferent grades.
DyeCrusting: Wet Blue Stores issue the leather againstStitching Units orders for Dye Crusting. Dye Crusting involvesseveral processes such as Summing, Splitting, Shaving, Trimming,Re-chroming, Neutralizing, Fat liquoring, Dyeing, Piling, SettingOut, Vacuum Drying and Drying.
QualityInspection: Dyed Crust leather is 100% inspectedaccording to the prescribed standards for ensuring that the leatheris at par with the customer requirement.
Anyleather not up to the standard is separated. The separated leatheris either graded as useable in the same article with furtherprocessing or downgraded for some lower grade article.
Finishing: Everyleather is processed differently depending upon thearticle.
TheChief Technician determines the processes and theirsequence.
Differentfinishing processes are Toggle, Staking, Dry Milling, Embossing,Coating, Polishing, Buffing and Spraying.
QualityInspection: During each process Qualified Tannersensure the quality control of the leather beingprocessed.
A separate Final Selectiondepartment ensures that the leather is according to the sampleprovided by the customer.
Anyrejected leather is separated and divided into re-work and lowergrade leather.
