The SP2 is packed with many luxury features for its time:three-spoke steering wheel, wooden handbrake handle and heatercontrol knobs, fully reclining seats, map light, courtesy lights onboth doors, and 2-speed wipers and headlamp flasher controls set onthe steering wheel column.
The instrument panel provided clock, 200 Km/h speedometer(120mph), 6, 000 rpm tachometer, oil temperature, voltmeter, andgas gauges.
An incredibly reliable air-cooled Type 3 pancake 1, 700cc enginewith twin Solex carburetors powers the SP2. A 4-speed manualtransmission completes the drive-train.
The SP2 sports swing axle rear suspension with the Z-bar loadcompensating spring, disc brakes on the front and drums on theback. The car stands only 1158mm high, with a ground clearance of149mm.
