The FR9801 is a synchronous step-down DC/DC converter thatprovides wide 4.5V to 21V input voltage range and 2A continuousload current capability. The FR9801 fault protection includescycle-by-cycle current limit, UVLO, output overvoltage protectionand thermal shutdown. The adjustable soft-start function preventsinrush current at turn-on. This device uses current mode controlscheme which provides fast transient response. Internalcompensation function reduces external compensation components andsimplifies the design process. In shutdown mode, the supply currentis less than 1μA. The FR9801 is available in SOT-23-6 package andprovides good thermal conductance. | |
