Theyare found in a variety of colours ranging from pitch black to whiteand light yellow, and are generally designed to blend in with theirhabitat.

In turtle-grass beds, on sediment or silty sand bottoms in areaswhere terrigenous action occurs, at depths of up to 30 m. Averagedensity about 50 individuals per hectare.
