ZF Axle AP400 Features
The AP400 wasdesigned specifically for application of heavy duty constructionequipment.The
modelrange consistsof 7 sizes:fordynamic axle loads from 10.7 to 32twith a wide range of axle
ratio sandtrack widths.
The AP400series axles possess design characteristics which can be calledinnovative without
exaggeration.Ourmain goal is to provide greater reliability and safety standards mcontinuous
heavy dutyoperation.ZF hasfurther developed a provenbrake system to meet this goal.Wetmulti
disc brakes provide foroptimum life and minimumrepair.This brakes system issuitable for type of
heavy-duty vehicle, whichshould be under continuous heavy-dutyoperation.If the operationor
application of a vehiclerequires it , an additional external coolinqsystem isavailable.
Forinspection or service of the brakes, only the cover of the wheelhead has to be removed.
Removing ofthe tires or lifting of thevehicle is not required.ZF was able to increasesafety
considerably-withreliable, constant brakeperformance.TheZF quality standard ensures a high
