The mainpart of the VNA rack storage system is beam rack system, differentin that three-way stack fork lift rail is assembled on the floor ofthe rack base.
Narrowand Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Pallet Racking is serviced by ReachTrucks or specialised forklifts called Turret/Swing-Reach Trucksor, in some cases, Automatic Stacker Cranes. These units operate inaisles not much wider than the load itself. Although capital costsare greater, there are usually significant savings in land andbuilding costs.
Casepicking is also possible with man-up Turret/Swing Reach Trucks,Stockpickers and AS/RS systems with appropriateattachments.

How to Select
1. frameCapacity
Add total weightof all pallets for each bay (exclude pallets on floor).
2.Height
Measure all verticals includingheight of pallet, pallet load and beam height, add at least 100mmclearance between top of load and bottom of beam above. Top beamshould be a minimum of 160mm less than maximum lifting height ofyour forklift.
3.Depth
Pallet shouldoverhang frame by 50-100mm front and back (1200 pallet, use1100-100mm deep frame). Deduct 100-200mm from pallet depth. Palletsneed to be in good condition.
4.Width
Measure width ofpallet, add a minimum of 75mm pallet-to-frame clearance and 100mmbetween pallets to determine correct beam length. Each pair ofbeams must support weight of pallets per level. Add-on sectionsrequire only one additional frame and required number ofbeams.
