Description:
1.Advanced Gasification Technology For Biomass Power Plant.2.Capacity:50-20000KW.
3.CE & IS09001:2008 COMPANY.
4.Since 1986.
The basic principle of POWERMAX’s biomassgasification system(abbreviated as BGPS) is toconvert Agriculture and forestry products and wood processingremains (including rick husks, wood powder, branches, offcuts, cornstraws, rice straws, wheat straws, cotton straws, fruit shells, coconut shells, palm shells, bagasse, corncobs and etc.) intocombustible gas . It is then used as fuel in gas engine to generateelectricity. Biomass gasification successfully conquers thedisadvantages of biomass, such as low flammability and widediversity. Biomass gasification system is characteristic of smallland requirement and environment friendly. It’s one of the mosteffective way of biomass utilization.
Our biomass gasification process includes three steps. The Firststep is biomass gasification, which convert biomass into syngas. The Second step is syngas purification. The producer gas comingfrom gasifier usually contains contaminants including dust, coke, tar and etc. The contaminants will be removed by the purificationsystem to ensure normal operation of gas engine. The Third step ispower generating in gas engine. The high temperature exhaust gasmay be reused by waste heat boiler to generate steam or hot waterfor civil or industrial use). Steam turbine may also be consideredto make a gas-steam combined cycle power plant, which will increasethe total efficiency.
The POWERMAXbiomass gasification power generation systems are based on amodular concept and are able to applicable for50-20000KW biomass power station. There are three series of biomassgasification system offered by POWERMAX which ranges from 50-2000KWof power generation: CFBG (Circulating Fluidized BedGasifier) Series, UFBG(Updraft Fixed Bed Gasifier) Series,DFBG(Downdraft Fixed Bed Gasifier) Series. A seriesbiomass generator sets from 50KW to 1000KW are developed byPOWERMAX to combine with POWERMAX advanced gasification technology. These gas generator sets are using the high efficiency Siemenstechnology alternators, Chinese top brand medium speed gasengine(500-1000rpm) with advanced European engine control systems. The high performance of the Powermax biomass gasification plantsand the later production of electricity with the gensets representsa competitive solution when compared with conventional boiler-firedsystem.

Comparing with other renewable power generating system,POWERMAX-BGPS is characteristic of:
1). Flexibility. Gas engine, gas turbine and evenwaste heat recovery boiler may be used considering various powerplant capacity requirements. It ensures high power generatingefficiency. Different capacities of biomass power generation plantcan be designed with various types of POWERMAX-BGPSsystem.
2).Clean technology. Biomass, as one kind of renewableenergy, may reduce the emission of carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxidecausing from fossil fuel. Nitrogen oxides emission is very limitedin our biomass gasification power generating system because of lowtemperature (700°C~1200°C).
3).Economic. POWERMAX-BGPS is capacity flexible. Even smallsize biomass power plant is also profitable. Simple process andless land requirements make biomass gasification power plant moreeconomic comparing with other renewable energy. Generally speaking, biomass gasification power generating is the most economictechnology in renewable power generating plant, the cost ofwhich is nearly the same as small-size conventional powerplant.
