How does Solar Lighting work?

Each Solar light has solar panels inset in the top of the housingthat absorb sunlight and convert it to electricity. Thatelectricity is then stored in the batteries. The lightautomatically turns on at dusk when the sensor can no longerregister any daylight. The stored energy in the batteries is whatpowers the solar light. A fully charged light will runapproximately 6-10 hours. The number of hours it is illuminated isdirectly proportional to the number of hours it receives ofsunlight
