"sippo"(Brandname)
Sippo means"tail" in English, evoking a cute, playful image.
We want our products to be alovable, charming part of people''s lives.
A tail is very expressive: It servesmany purposes and can convey myriad
emotions like happiness, invitation, intrigue, and more.
Humans, however, lack thisexpressive organ.
Just as our ancestors'' expressivetails have been lost to history,
our goal is to unearth and repurpose a range of good ideasfrom the past --
things that never went out ofstyle.
What forms does this "sippo" take?In Japan, it means the ideals of harmony, courtesy,
and classical arts, elements ofour history that threaten to grow dim.
Our mission is to get back to theroots of this Japanese "sippo" and offer up
our discoveries within Japan andthroughout the world.

We usea classical script used in bronze inscriptions
