STANDARD FEATURES
DESIGN: Compact dimensions, low weight, easy to operate andeasy to maintain, modular design with direct fits betweencomponents. Generally in accordance with IS 3938. MOTORS: CRANOIST uses sturdy cylindrical rotor pole-changingmotors with elegant continuous cast aluminium sections, integratedsafety brakes. Insulation class - F, Protection- IP54. Specificallydesigned for high starting torque hoisting service, half-hour ratedwith permanently lubricated bearings suitable for frequentreversals as well as braking. GEAR BOXES: Precision flat helical/ spur gear units withcase-hardened gears, high-grade surface treatment and permanentoil/grease lubrication. Newer designs are lighter in weight becauseof improved material strength & manufacturing techniques. BRAKES: Single/ Dual-disc electromagnetic DC brakes featuringautomatic braking on power failure. Environmentally sound brake linings designed for approx. I millionbraking operations allow long maintenance intervals. ELECTRICAL PANEL : Modular design, covering a very wideoperating range. The panels are designed for ease of installation,maintenance and reliable operation, with, fuseless circuitry. Eachdrive group is equipped with a motor overload protection device toprovide effective protection against inadmissible overloading.Control circuit provides reduced voltage at the Push Buttonstation, with 110 volts being standard. Also, a relay to preventphase failure and phase sequence change at the incoming. Modularsoft starts for cross and long travel motors, ensures, operation ismuch more gentle on components, lowering shock loads and heatbuildup. PAINTING: Every component & part of Flame Proof Wire RopeElectric Hoist is thoroughly scrubbed & painted with two coatsof primer before assembly & two coats of syntheticenamel/automotive paint after testing. SUPPORTING STRUCTURE, TROLLEYS AND DRIVE SYSTEMS: The trolleytypes are the result of integrating standard hoists in chassisdesigned for different applications and combining them with varioustypes of travelling gear. In addition articulated joints ensure that all four wheels arealways firmly positioned on the tracks and that the wheel loads areproperly distributed in accordance with the structural design ofthe system.
