Description:
PDC bit is developed in a significant advancedtechnology of diamond drilling. The disc shaped polycrystallinediamond pads, or cutters, are set strategically in rows on the bitface. These cutters consist of a layer of polycrystalline diamondon a tungsten carbide substrate and it allows the bits to drillthrough formations which are too soft or too sticky forconventional diamond drill bits. The PDC bits are designed forvertical, slant or horizontal drilling and can be used for eithernon core, side track or recovery purposes
