The Cast Iron Surface Plate iscalled Working Platform (working plate), Worktable.
The gross structure of CastIron Surface Plate(worktables)is divide into box type and rib type.The shape of working surface is rectangle, square and roundness.According to the precision machining, It’s divided into finishplane and scraping. There are V-Slots, T-Slots, U-Slots, dovetailslots, round holes, slotted holes etc. The material is HT200-300etc, the working surface hardness is between HB160 and HB 210.Thereare two tempering treatment (artificial annealing (seasoning):600to 700 centigree, natural seasoning:2 to 3 years)to keep theplates’ stability and abrasion resistance. According to nationalstandard metrological verification regulation, the accuracy classof plates are divided into “0”grade,“Ⅰ”grade,A“Ⅱ”grade,“Ⅲ”grade. Andthe plates can be machined on the working surface ofplates.
The Cast Iron Surface Plate isthe benchmark measuring tool which can be applied to testing,lineation, assembling, welding, installing and rivet welding forthe work pieces and equipments.
The CastIron Surface Plate accessories have anchor bolts, anchor devices,levelling bolts, T-bolts, levelling pad iron, cover plateetc.
