YAMAWA Spiral taps
Recommended for blind hole tapping
The spiral flutes enable the tap to pull up chips out of thehole and leave no chips in the hole bottom. They are most suitablefor blind holes of sticky materials. Having high cuttingperformance, they show their superiority in such interruptedtapping as the tapping in the hole with key grooves.
YAMAWA Spiral pointed taps
Consistent thread cutting becomes available with these taps.With left hand spiral fluites, these taps push forward the chipsout of hole, most suitable for blind holes. The whole body of thespiral pointed taps is quite tough and consistent tapping isobtained from these taps.
YAMAWA Hand taps
There are 3 types, taper tap, plug tap and bottoming tapdepending on chamfer length. Depending on tapping condition, thereare 2 cases in usage, the use of a set tap (3 pieces) and the useof individual tap. Since chips remain in the flute in very minuteshape, Hand taps can be used for both blind holes and throughholes.
Thread forming taps
These taps make threads by deforming materials without producingchips. Suitable for the blind holes of rather softmaterials. Dies and center drills are alsolined-up.
