Department of perennial plants seaweed kelp, leathery, frond clearly divided into root-like holdfast, shank and piece part, was olive-brown when ripe, dry dark brown. Piece portion narrow, entire, long up to 6m, width 20 ~ 50cm, thicker in the center, the two edges gradually thin and wavy folds. Sori formed in the sheet, was nearly circular scar-like patches.
