Kavat produce their shoes in Sweden and has been doing so since 1945.                 In the factory you will find 50 employees that produce around a 1000 pairs each day.Design, quality, origin and environmental responsibility is the key to our success.For the coming spring and summer 2008 we have a project going concerning environmental questions where we will to produce some of the popular Kavat shoes in 100% ecological tanned leather. We are using leather from T�rnsj� a Swedish tannery- these skins are coming from Swedish cows and are vegetable tanned which means they are totally free from chrome and other chemicals. Its a traditional method that takes a little more time but it creates materials with life and lustre, that only gets better with time.
