The Mutianyu Great Wall scenic area has a long history and splendid culture in Beijing even in the whole country.It has a certain degree of visibility and influence in its’ natural landscape among all the other sections.Especially after the 2008 Olypics , visibility and reputation in the world have been effective promotion.
History
Great Wall Mutianyu is located in the huairoudistrict ,about 70 kilometres from the Beijing city .It was connected the Juyongguan Great Wall at the west and Gubeikou at the east .Originally built in 1404 , the Great Wall here rebuilt strongly when general Qi jiguang commanded here (1569).Today the Wall we see was renovated in 1980’s .
